2Legal framework

This policy is adopted in compliance with Colombian Law 1581 of 2012, Decree 1377 of 2013 (compiled in Decree 1074 of 2015) and any rules that amend or supplement them.

• Contact details: name, email address, organization, job title or role, and industry.
• The content of the messages you send us through the forms on this site.
• Your answers to the free diagnostic and its result, when you choose to leave your details to receive the report.

We do not request sensitive data. Our services and this site are not directed at minors.

4Purposes

• Respond to your inquiries and contact or demo requests.
• Send you the result and report of the free diagnostic and related recommendations.
• Contact you about VINKS services, including commercial communications, provided you have authorized it. You can ask us to stop sending them at any time.
• Improve our services and the site’s content, using aggregated information.
• Comply with legal obligations.

5Authorization

By ticking the authorization box on our forms and submitting your data, you give your prior, express and informed authorization for the processing of your personal data for the purposes described. You may revoke the authorization or request deletion of your data when there is no legal or contractual duty to keep it.

• Request proof of the authorization you granted.

7How to exercise your rights

Write to us at info@datavinks.com, stating your name, your identification, your request and the means to reply to you. Inquiries are answered within a maximum of ten (10) business days and complaints within a maximum of fifteen (15) business days from receipt. If we cannot respond within that period, we will tell you the reasons and the new date, within the terms the law allows.

8Processors and transfers

To operate the site and our services we may rely on technology providers (for example, hosting, email and management tools), who act as data processors under our instructions. Some may be located outside Colombia. In those cases we require adequate levels of data protection. We do not sell your personal data.

9Security

We apply reasonable technical, human and administrative measures to protect your data against loss, unauthorized access, use or alteration.

10Retention and changes

We keep your data for as long as needed for the purposes described and to comply with legal obligations. We may update this policy; the current version will always be published on this site.
